A New Beginning

Many people say it’s important to surround yourself with positive people — and it’s true. They encourage, support, and help us grow. But sometimes, the most important support comes from within, and that’s where a new beginning starts.

“The only approval you need is your own.”

A New Beginning

Over time, after months of overthinking and waiting, a clear realization finally emerged.

Could it be that those “perfect people” I imagined might never come?

For months, I waited for the right moment, the perfect environment, and the ideal people to motivate me. I believed that once everything aligned, I could finally start. But in reality, all that waiting did was let time slip away.

The only thing waiting gave me… was time slipping away.

Over time, I realized something crucial: no one knows us better than we know ourselves. The “perfect supporter” we imagine so vividly in our minds often doesn’t exist.

Sometimes, we must become that person for ourselves — not for praise or approval, but for our own growth.

I started blogging about a year ago, full of excitement and passion. But I wasn’t consistent, and slowly, doubts began to creep in.

Gradually, uncertainty took hold. Thoughts swirled endlessly:

  • Would anyone even like what I write?
  • Could anyone actually read it?
  • Was it really good enough?
These doubts quietly festered, stirring anxiety and stopping me from taking action.

Weeks turned into months, and slowly, clarity began to fade.

Deep down, I knew that I had started blogging for myself — to improve, to learn, and to grow through the process.

The answer was always there.

It wasn’t about seeking approval; it was driven by passion, a way to challenge myself, learn along the journey, share thoughts honestly, and perhaps even help others grow through these experiences.

However, it took me eight to nine months to realize this.

Today, I feel different.

I am no longer trying to please everyone.

Instead, I am simply trying to prove something to myself —
that I am capable of achieving the things I once dreamed of.

Not perfect.
Not polished.
Just real.

And sometimes, being real is far more powerful than being perfect.

Maybe the right people will come along the way.
But until then, becoming the right person for ourselves might be the best place to start.
